Healthy teeth are the foundation of a healthy childhood. In November 2025, our team traveled to one elementary school in Ayacucho, Peru, to teach children and teachers the joys of good dental hygiene, and how to make their very own toothpaste from everyday natural ingredients.

For millions of children in rural Peru, dental disease is one of the most prevalent - and preventable - health challenges they face. Poor oral health affects nutrition, concentration, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

Our November 2025 Mission
In November 2025, our foundation president Dylan led an inspiring dental health initiative at an elementary school in Ayacucho, Peru, a region where geographic remoteness and limited economic resources make access to basic hygiene supplies a daily challenge for families.
Dylan gathered both students and teachers for interactive, hands-on workshops where children learned not only why dental hygiene matters, but how to practice it properly every single day. Using simple demonstrations and lots of laughter, Dylan showed the correct brushing technique, the importance of twice-daily care, and how to make dental health a joyful habit.
The heart of the project was the homemade toothpaste demonstration, a simple, chemical-free recipe that families can recreate at home using affordable, accessible ingredients. No store trips, no expensive products, just healthy smiles.
But we didn't stop at teaching. Our foundation assembled individual hygiene kits for every single child and teacher at the school, so that each person left with the tools they needed to start their new routine right away.
Chemical-free, easy to make, and effective — this is the recipe Dylan shared with the Ayacucho school community. Simple ingredients, big impact.
2 tablespoons baking soda
1 tablespoon coconut oil
5–10 drops peppermint essential oil (optional, for flavor)
Mix baking soda and coconut oil until it forms a paste.
Add peppermint oil and stir well.
Store in a small glass container with a lid.

What We Gave
We believe that knowledge alone isn't enough — so we made sure every person at the school walked away with their own personal hygiene kit, ready to put their new habits into practice from day one.

We Left the Ingredients Behind
Before leaving Ayacucho, our foundation donated a full supply of toothpaste ingredients to the school, baking soda, coconut oil, peppermint oil, and storage containers. Teachers now have everything they need to keep making fresh batches for students, ensuring this project continues to benefit the community long after our visit.
